LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic has been featured in the September issue of Canada’s Zoomer Magazine, a magazine for people 45-plus.
The Younger, Longer-themed issue hit newsstands Aug. 6 and features an interview with Sara Hodson, LIVE WELL Founder & President. The article talks about the importance of LIVE WELL’S exercise as medicine model and the reasons Sara quit her job in Cardiac Rehab to launch LIVE WELL in 2011.
“We are thrilled to have been recognized in a high-quality national magazine and Zoomer is certainly influential with boomers, who make up a lot of our membership and target market,” says Hodson.
The article also describes LIVE WELL’s model, which is quite different than a typical big-box gym with thousands of registered members. LIVE WELL caps each clinic’s membership at only 300 people so as to ensure a low ratio of members to highly-trained staff and to promote a sense of community in its clinics.
The article also features a photo of longtime White Rock clinic member Ann Done. Ann has been a LIVE WELL member since 2014 and since joining has lost 50 lbs, her blood sugars are under control. her blood pressure and cholesterol are much improved, and she feels much more flexible, stronger and happier!
